On Thursday, August 11, The GreenFields Continuing Care Community held an Appreciation Luncheon at GreenField Manor for all those who graciously take the time out of their schedules to volunteer at our campus. We want to thank all of our volunteers for their continuous support through contributing their time and talents to meet the needs of our residents, families, and staff. These volunteers improve the lives of our residents, aid in the efficiency of our administration, and save us hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. Their help truly makes a difference in so many ways.
With opportunities at all facilities including GreenField Manor (residential living,) GreenField Court (assisted living,) GreenField Terrace (Enhanced Assisted Living/ Memory Care,) GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center (Skilled Nursing/ Respite/ Rehabilitation/ Outpatient Therapy,) and Niagara Lutheran Health Foundation (administrative,) there is a wide range of choices for volunteers at The GreenFields. Tasks include transporting, visiting, assisting with clerical work or at activities, sharing your hobbies or interests, entertaining, cleaning wheelchairs, helping with residents’ gardens, and much more. Whether it’s a few hours, once a week, or once a month, we want to work with what fits our volunteers’ schedules.
We would also like to say a special thank you to the Ladies First Quartet for providing the musical entertainment at the luncheon and to Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Restaurant for providing the door prizes of three $25 gift certificates.
