Summer Concert Series
Throughout the year there are a number of regularly scheduled events that members the residents of the GreenFields and people from across greater Buffalo all look forward to. Our annual Summer Concert Series at The GreenFields was the first of its kind, and runs from late June through early August. Our extremely popular concert series features some of the community’s favorite entertainment, including Terry Buchwald as Elvis, the Carnival Kids Steel Orchestra, Jack Civiletto singing Sinatra, and the Boys of Summer.
Our Holiday Bazaar in November is an annual destination for hundreds of area shoppers in search of wonderful gift ideas such as home décor, jewelry, holiday treats, and much more. Horse-drawn wagon rides, balloon artists, plenty of goodies such as kettle corn, cotton candy, hot chocolate and spiced cider complete the day. Santa even spends the day with us at The GreenFields!
University Express Program
The GreenFields is proud to be a site for the University Express program. This popular program is designed to enhance the lives of older adults through lifelong learning. Each “semester,” a variety of content experts present on various topics including history, arts and humanities, health, science, and current affairs. One week you may attend an informative program about the FBI, and the next day you can learn about the evolution of the symphony orchestra, or the ecology of the Great Lakes. It’s all part of University Express!
