A Trusted Choice for Residents and Their Families

For over two decades, The GreenField Continuing Care Community has served residents and families from Buffalo, Lancaster and across Western New York, providing residential living, assisted living, memory care and rehabilitation services – and much more. Our campus is more than what most people expect, and far beyond what popular culture makes people believe.

We’re not a retirement home or a nursing home – we’re a community, and offer a full range of options for residents who need everything from no assistance to dedicated medical care. Residents here enjoy the company of one another and live and thrive together just as they would in a local neighborhood environment. We dedicate ourselves to providing a comfortable and inviting environment for retirement life – a place that feels like home, because it is.

Many of our residents and their family members have praised the unique and inviting environment they’ve found at The GreenFields. Read some of their own words below and discover The GreenFields for yourself by scheduling a visit today.

Your total commitment to your residents – the kindness, compassion, and the smiles that are so evident tells it all. Thank you!

Family member of a resident at GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center

My uncle Gerry passed away on Unit C of GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center. I would like to thank Lynn and her entire staff on Unit C for their knowledgeable and compassionate care. As a regular visitor over these past 20 months I have personally witnessed the daily loving and gentle care these angels provide to their residents. Not once did I see any impatience, shortness, or frustration during the care of the residents on this memory care unit. The staff know all the residents by name and by preferences and desires. The activities, the entertainment, and the genuine pleasure the staff shows in their work is reflected in the residents. I was often greeted by name when visiting my Uncle, offered a chair if necessary, asked repeatedly if I needed anything and kept up to date on any issues with my Uncle. As his days were becoming limited and Hospice joined the team caring for him, I felt the staff welcomed their input and supportive care for Uncle Gerry. Upon his passing, many of the staff had tears in their eyes and hugs and sympathy for his family. We were offered a “Butterfly” walk and I was completely overwhelmed by the number of staff present and their genuine show of support and sympathy.

I wanted to extend my gratitude to the entire GreenFields team for the exceptional care they provided to a close family friend. The family was very happy with the care that was received. Once again, The GreenFields never disappoints and continues to be the facility of choice in Western New York.

Resident at GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center

You have an excellent PT program at GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center. I was there for rehab after my total knee replacement surgery. I arrived on a Saturday and within an hour was taken to rehab where I met my PT. She was excellent, always encouraging me and giving me the confidence I needed. Now I attend PT twice a week and I’m told I’m doing great. I attribute my success to the wonderful PT, OT, and care I received at GreenField. Thank you for the great job, you started me off on my road to recovery.

I feel very special calling you my friends because you were not only very special to my late wife, but also to me and my family. Under your care she very much enjoyed the most difficult time in her life. It takes special people like you to make your patients feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Not everyone can do what you can do day-in and day-out.

As we age, we witness many dear friends going through excruciating mental and physical problems. We feel their pain and discomfort, as well as realize that we, too, will be heavily challenged someday. This is why people like you, who dedicate yourselves to making our last years comfortable, are so very important.
