The GreenFields Continuing Care Community will be participating in Spring It On, a 24-hour online fundraising event, powered by the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, to be held March 20-21, 2019 to help raise awareness and support of our mission to provide for the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the individuals we serve, in a Christian environment. Spring It On is designed to raise awareness and funds for a variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout Western New York with a unique one-day focus.
The GreenFields hopes to raise $5,000 through Spring It On to help cover the gap between the reimbursement received through Medicaid and what it costs to provide care to residents (over $30,000/person per year). This is the fourth year that The GreenFields Continuing Care Community has participated.
The goal of Spring It On is to create a one-day focal point to mobilize citizens to donate to a favorite agency, to highlight the impact that giving has on organizations, and to strengthen and support our community. The GreenFields Continuing Care Community provides for the physical, social, and spiritual needs of residents in a Christian environment. In addition to skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy at GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center, The GreenFields offers a variety of living arrangements and support levels based on individual needs. This includes independent living apartments in GreenField Manor; assisted living apartments in GreenField Court; and memory care and enhanced assisted living in GreenField Terrace.
