I wanted give a shout to John Brink for stepping in when Craig was gone on vacation or when we needed an extra hand to help offload some of the work. He is a fantastic therapist, and he is great about just rolling with the punches whenever something randomly came up in the outpatient department… we can always count on him.
I wanted to give a shout to Craig Kowalski for all of the hard work that he does to keep the outpatient department going strong. He is a hustler and continues to get good results day in and day out with his patients. He is helpful, positive, or goes above and beyond what your typical staff therapist does with no complaints. He takes pride in what he does. I was lucky to have him by my side over the past couple months.
I am giving a shout out to Nick Holmes. We recently had a discharge that was more involved, and he helped me through family training, family meetings, and figuring out all the paperwork to ensure a safe discharge!
Shout out to Madelyn Bondanza in OT! She has picked up figuring out what evals need to be done everyday and ensuring nothing gets missed!
Alissa Dzieciuch is very helpful to us with keeping up with all the insurance information, authorizations, an visit limits. She submits the information as soon as we finish the notes. She follows up with all the scheduling and returning phone calls.
Alissa Dzieciuch has been crucial in keeping the outpatient department running smoothly. She has been great about scheduling the evaluations and fighting to get us authorization to treat our people. She helps us keep things organized and filed appropriately. She has kindly reminded me to complete certain documents in a timely manner on more than one occasion so she can obtain authorization for initial or additional visits (which I greatly appreciate). I don’t want her efforts to go unnoticed. I truly appreciate her contributions to the outpatient department.
Lauren Kenworthy, our speech therapist, has been a good addition to our team. She has been increasing her outpatient case load and works well with the PT to get people scheduled and is a good communicator. The patients that we treat like her and their sessions with her. We are able to get them scheduled so they can do their therapy back-to-back.
I’m going to give my therapy shoutout to Lauren Kenworthy, SLP at GreenField 🙂 She is very positive and always wanting to learn more!
I wanted to give a shout out to Lauren Kenworthy for wanting to continue improving her skill set with certifications and willingness to mentor students pursing careers in speech pathology. She has stepped in when necessary with treating additional patients. She has been involved and willing to participate in various outpatient related endeavors. She was a representative of the therapy team at the summer concerts. She and I will both be involved in the Parkinson’s event happening on campus in October.
I would like to recognize Jordan Thompson. Every day he comes in happy and joking with the staff and patients. He is doing extra meetings to help grow our outpatient department. Jordan also did extra training to treat patients with vestibular issues, and dizziness. He has stayed late to accommodate patients’ work schedules. He has been a pleasure to work with and an excellent teammate in outpatient therapy.
I am giving a shout-out to Kaity Kester. She always demonstrates caring toward patients and residents. She is helpful in the clinic and on the units. I believe Kaity leads by example.
