Niagara Lutheran Health System will be participating in Spring It On, a 24-hour, online fundraising event to be held March 24, 2016, to help raise awareness and support of the organization whose mission is to provide for the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the individuals we serve, in a Christian environment. Spring It On is an event created and powered by the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County, designed to raise awareness and funds for a variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout Western New York with a unique one-day focus.
Niagara Lutheran Health System hopes to raise $10,000 that will help the organization cover the gap between the reimbursement received through Medicaid & what it costs to provide care to residents (over $18,000/person per year.) This is the first year that Niagara Lutheran Health System has participated.
The goal of Spring It On is to create a one-day focal point to mobilize citizens to donate to a favorite agency, to highlight the impact that giving has on organizations, and to strengthen and support our community.
