The GreenFields Continuing Care Community collected donations to benefit the Lancaster Trinity Food Pantry from December 5th- December 16th. On Thursday, December 22nd , the food pantry at Trinity Episcopal Church received 20 large boxes full of items and $100.00 in cash. Items donated include unexpired canned goods, imperishable food items, and personal care products including toothbrushes, deodorant and soap.
Over 300 Lancaster and Depew families, mostly seniors, are currently in need of help. The Trinity Pantry is able to assist these families in getting the help they need. The pantry is Client Choice, meaning the shoppers select only the food they want and will use. It is located at 5448 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086 and open every Wednesday morning from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday morning from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. They can also be reached at (716) 683-1111.
